What started as a vision has grown into something meaningful. The girls side of Lexington East Elite was created to provide opportunities, build confidence, and show young female athletes that they belong on the field just as much as anyone else.

In the beginning, growth was slow—and that was okay. We focused on participation, learning, and simply creating space. Some players were brand new to flag football, some were still figuring out the rules, and others were just learning how to compete in a team environment. Through games, practices, and shared experiences, the game began to make sense.

As seasons passed, confidence grew. Players began to understand not just how to play, but why certain fundamentals mattered. Trainings became more intentional. Communication improved. Effort increased. What once felt unfamiliar started to feel natural.

Today, the girls program continues to grow—both in numbers and in understanding. More athletes are stepping forward, more families are getting involved, and more opportunities are opening up. The progress hasn’t been rushed. It’s been earned through patience, consistency, and a commitment to development.

This journey is still unfolding. We are proud of how far the girls program has come, and even more excited about what lies ahead. Thank you for being part of the growth and for believing in what these athletes are becoming.
